hear him.
you dance over me
while I am unaware
u sing all around
but I never hear the sound
lord im amazed by you
how you love me
how wide
how deep
how great
is your love for me
is your love for me
.how much are we unaware? how many times do we never hear the sound?
.how many times do we go throughout the day and miss Him saying "child, I LOVE YOU!" ha. .and how many times do we go throughout the day and never stop to listen to His voice whisper everything our hearts desire wants, needs, longs, and cries out to hear?
.how many times do we expect others to love us in the exact place Father wants to fill, only at the end of the day go to bed dissapointed again that no one met up to what 'i need'?
.how many times does He let it happen? or should we ask...
how many times do we miss Him?
for me, at this moment.
how many times do I miss Him?
gently Father reminds me that I have been missing Him often. it is not enough to know Him through circumstances and through the lives of others, for that is not truly KNOWING HIM. he loves me in a way no human could. and yes i am amazed.
friends: as i read our blogs, speak to you on the phone, reminisce about our lives, and try to figure out this seemingly nonending life transition, i am reminded only of one thing.
the heart of our Father.
how wide.
how deep.
how great.
is the heart of our Father.
for each of us.
our lives are a representation and expression of His love for us. our current state is described perfectly in Ecclesiastes 3.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace...
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
.and i trust that wherever you are, whatever is going on within you... this is His time for you. and how beautiful it is. as we reminisce, enjoying today while at the same time missing yesterday, let us each settle in His arms, nestle up to His chest, and find rest. for the days will only grow. and our todays will become yesterdays. so we do not miss, but we cherish, and we make the most of. and in all craziness, we settle, nestle, and rest.
thank each one of you for what you bring to the table. He is unique in you, always!
how wide. how deep. how great.
resting.
